Path Of Time

Join us on Duskwood!

This will be updated during the meeting. Here is tonight's agenda based on what has been said over the last couple of weeks.

Attendance
--Signing Up
FIRST POLICY: After the last day of the raid, Betheny will post on WoW calendar what day the next raid will start. You will have until before the raid starts to confirm, deny, or wait-list your position in the raid. More than ten people will be invited to a ten-man raid. Two healers and two tanks will be taken; the other six will be dps.

--Being Late
FIRST POLICY: If a person is late, they are not given preference. We are currently on a first-come, first-serve basis for your position in the raid. The first two tanks, first two healers, and first six others will be chosen over those who were not on time.

--Missing a raid
FIRST POLICY: If you miss a raid after signing up for one, you will be replaced. This does not affect your future raid status. Missing a raid will not count against your looting privileges.

Loot
--Roll Structure
FIRST POLICY: All green loot will go to the enchanter to be disenchanted and the materials will be placed in the guild bank. If you have an alternate character who can use the pieces, it is your responsibility to speak up about the piece before it is disenchanted. If the piece is disenchanted, you have no claim over the materials. The materials will not be rolled for. All purple loot will be rolled for for a maximum of three times. The first roll will be for those who are trying to gear up their main spec. If the piece applies to your main spec, you may roll for the purple piece in the first roll. You may do this once until all others who share your needs have also received a piece If no one needs it for their main spec, the piece will be sent to an off-spec roll. This roll will allow for people to gain armor for a spec other than what they usually use. If the piece is not needed from either the main or off specs of the group, the piece will go to the enchanter and the materials will be rolled for. Token pieces can only be rolled on by the classes named by the token. If more than one token piece drops for the same set of people, anyone who has won a token piece may not roll on another piece. For all loot drops, one person may not upgrade the same slot more than once during any given raid and are limited to one ring and one trinket per raid unless no one else in the group can use the pieces.

--Main Spec
FIRST POLICY: The main specs have first choice on loot. The main spec of a character does not have to be the spec currently used in the raid. The purpose of the raid is to upgrade the gear of the main specs of participants. It is the responsibility of the participants to declare their main specs during the course of the raid to ensure they are being geared properly.

--Off Spec
FIRST POLICY: The off specs have second choice on loot. The off spec of a character is the spec less frequently used by the person. It is the responsibility of the participants to declare their off spec during the course of the raid should their characters be able to use a piece of loot at debate. At no time does an off spec overshadow a main spec.

--Token
FIRST POLICY: Tokens can be rolled on by any class named in the token piece. The pieces must be an upgrade for the character.

--Need
FIRST POLICY: There will be a need roll for the main spec and off spec rolls. Those who could use the piece as an absolute upgrade are encouraged to use the need button. Those who see the piece as a minimal upgrade should not use the Need button unless they are the only person who could use it as an upgrade. Anyone who cannot use the piece are not allowed to use the Need button.

--Greed
FIRST POLICY: Greed should be used by those who are not able to use the piece or the piece is a minimal upgrade.

Gear
It is the responsibility of the players who want to come to raids to research upgrades for their gear that will make them minimally acceptable. Acceptable requirements for gear will depend on the other participants in the group. The guild will help all those who have researched their gear obtain gear. If you are not sure how to research your gear or are not sure where to go next, please ask and we will help you.

Raid group equipment rules

At the start of the RAID you will be asked what is the main spec that you will be getting equipment for in the RAID. This does not have to be the spec you are asked to be in the RAID. This spec is valid for the ENTIRE RAID not just the first day you are on the RAID.
You can not take a piece of equipment if it is not your MAIN spec until the entire group has been asked.

Equipment List

Everyone will roll for position on the list at the beginning of the RAID. List will consist of numbers 1 through 10 (Ten Man) 1 – 25 (25 Man). The highest roll (1-100) will be #1 on the list and so forth down to #10 (25).

When a piece of equipment is up, the first person on the list has the choice to take it for main spec or decline. If you take the piece of equipment you go to the end of the line and everyone else moves up one slot.

If you leave the RAID Group you lose your spot. If you are added to the RAID group later you go to the end of the line. If more than one person is added at the same time they roll for position at the back of the line.

If you are asked to leave to go on another toon you will not lose your spot in line.

If no one takes the equipment for their MAIN spec then Off spec is up. If you want it for your Off spec and no one else wants it you keep your spot. If someone else wants it then you go to end of line.

If an item is BoE and no one wants it you can take it for an Alt toon but you will be moved to the end of the line.

The only rolls that will happen for items will be for DE’d items that produce Abyss Crystals or Dream Shards or wanted green items. If you get a crystal you can not get another until everyone gets one even if it is an alt on the same day or a different day. The same goes for shards. If you get a green item you will not lose your spot on the list. However you will only be able to get another green if no one else wants it. All unwanted equipment will be DE’d or sold and the gold will be split between the attending guilds. This can be discussed by Guild leaders in RAID.

If the piece of Equipment is not an upgrade please do not take it. We are trying to make sure everyone gets geared to the best they can.

ANY DISPUTES WILL BE DECIDED BY THE RAID LEADER/LOOT MASTER

PROPOSAL FOR LOOTING:

If you upgrade your main spec AT ALL, regardless of your place in line, you are automatically dropped to the bottom of the list.

PROPOSAL FOR LOOTING:

Newcomers to the group automatically start in the last position. Introduction of new participants does not interrupt the current loot schedule. They are adopted into the schedule based on their current position and the line will continue as it did before.

Absences will force you to the bottom of the list. Repeated absences will make your spot permanently begin at the bottom of the list.

The ten that have been chosen to go will roll prior to entering the raid. Your place in line determines your eligibility to roll for your MAIN SPEC only. If you take a piece of gear that will upgrade your main spec, you will go to the back of the line and everyone else will move up one place in line. It will speed up the raid not having to roll for everything multiple times. You will know yourp lace in line prior to the drop so you will know if it's something you want or not when you look at it. If you don't want it and you pass, you will retain your place in line and will go to the next person in line. Everyone passes that is eligible, then it falls to the off spec.

Lunisa, Fairclaw not in favor; overcomplicated.

Mhakhoz likes it because it removes the need to roll. If two people want it after the main spec list, they can roll for the off spec. The main point is to gear our main specs.

If you leave the raid for any reason, the person coming in goes to the back of the line and does not get your spot.

The idea is to build a raid group in order to be able to raid well. It doesn't make sense not to build up our mains because they are the specs most often used. Everyone should have a fair rather than a lucky chance.

Lunisa would like to change to 2 drops for main spec with declaration fo spec at the beginning of the raid.

The /roll

If Beth raids five nights and Bene raids one night and Bene wins the roll.

Based on luck/chance.

PROPOSAL FOR ATTENDANCE

Point system.

Participants are allowed to sign up if they have positive points. Participants will spend one point for a guaranteed spot in the sign-up. Participants with no points will be wait-listed if they sign up.

Participants will gain one point for showing up to the raid on time. Additionally, participants will gain one point for showing up prepared. Participants who are late will lose a point. Participants who do not show up prepared and force the group to wait while they become prepared will lose a point. Participants who have lengthy stalls during the raid that could have been avoided will lose a point for each instance. Points can be accrued over time.

Participants will have a limited number of late or absent excuses. Participants who retract their slot must do so at least one day in advance to get their raid point back. Points will be posted in public forum outside of WoW for the convenience of participants.
