Guild Rules
If you have a suggestion for a new guild rule or a revision of a current standing one, please submit it in the box below.
1. NO BEGGING FOR ANYTHING in or outside of the guild. There is nothing so far outside of your determination and skill that you will not be able to obtain on your own or with the guild's help. Please respect other peoples' right to play the game and remember that "No" means "No". Violation of this rule, especially within the confines of the guild, is not taken lightly and may result in immediate expulsion.
2. Be nice and respectful to guildies and players from other guilds. Assume that all other game players are there for their own enjoyment--don't put a dent in their day by being rude, disrespectful, or annoying. Remember that at all times you are representative of our guild and it is important that your actions reflect the same respect and courtesy others display to you so our guild can continue to have good relations with others! Violation of this rule will make you look like a child, idiot, or both. If compliance is not readily met, violation can be grounds for immediate expulsion. Once a warning has been issued, punishment is at the discretion of the guild officers.
3. DO NOT be a ninja to any alliance players. (Horde is OK) When questing with others or in a group in an instance, do not hit the button marked "Need" if you do not need the item; press "Greed" or pass on the item. Good questing partners and reliable groups are hard to come by so don't tick them off with your shennanigans! PoT does not consider needing money by selling the item as a need. Also, if an Alliance player is trying to kill a mob, do not steal their kill--it makes them angry and they are likely to retalliate! Violation of this rule makes you look like an idiot and no one will want to play with you. If this is done in a guild setting, it is grounds for immediate expulsion. If a warning is issued, a second violation of any kind from any other rules will be taken under consideration in the next level of punishment.
4. Do no spam the guild channel or any channel for that matter. Once you have been asked by someone on a channel (be it trade, general, guild, or affiliation), to discontinue a topic, subject, or behavior: Stop Immediately. This will help prevent you from getting reported and will also help decrease tensions between you and other members of that channel. Violation of this rule will get you ignored and reported by a great deal of players outside of the guild (since guildies cannot technically report you due to some glitch in the WoW programming system) and you will find it hard to gain help, find questing partners, sell items on trade, ask general questions, or join up with instance groups. Violation within the confines of affiliate or guild chat will constitute a warning but if the warning is not met with compliance, punishment will be served at the will and pleasure of any present guild officers. In the absence of the guild officers, complaints will be taken seriously.
5. We are in an Affiliation with Sisters of War, Lost Hunt, Brothers of war, Knights of Apocalypse, Children of War, and Crimson Crusaders- treat them with respect! Though you are to be respectful and courteous to all members of the Alliance Faction, be especially careful in your dealings and considerations with those from the above listed guilds. They are an invaluable resource for questing partners, battlegroup premades, knowledge, and instance groups. Treat them as you would your guild mates. Violation of this rule will result in the loss of the privilege of using the affiliation chatline and a second violation may constitute expulsion due to multiple rule violations.
6. Please watch your language. Try to keep the swearing to a min especially in chat with any of the affiliates. Since the age label on the box doesn't mean much to most parents in America (as judged by the fact that there are children running rampant all over the place), your language should be respectful and censored in the presence of any one who might take offense or pick up some of your habits. If another guildie, affiliate, or faction member asks you to tone down your language: do so immediately. Remember, your expressed language is a behavior which will represent not only you but our guild so always be respectful. You are free to speak how you will to those you know best or when given permission (either expressed permission or unexpressed dislike) but be prepared at all times to speak tongue-in-cheek. Violation of this rule within guild or affiliate chat will be met with a warning. If the warning is not met with immediate compliance, punishment will be served at the will and pleasure of the guild officers.
7. 1 alt unless ye have a 70. Since most players are pretty prolific, you are probably going to end up with more than one character at some point. However, to make sure that only active players remain in the guild, please register a main character for the guild and up to one alternate character. Both characters must remain active to remain in the guild unless previously arranged with a guild officer that activity may be temporarily suspended. If one of your characters reaches Level 70, you may enroll a third alternate character. All alternate characters must be awknowledged by a guild officer. If any characters fall stagnant (20 days without activity), removal will occur at the will and pleasure of guild officers.

PoT Update
Gratz, everyone, who got their trinkets and items in Brewfest! Thanks goes to Elanor for providing a tank for our shennanigans and for helping out our affiliates!
Unfortunately, due to some irl circumstances last week we were unable to do Kara. However, Beth is willing to give it one more go this week so if you have already RSVP'd, please make plans to be there this Wednesday at the usual hour.
